Meditation Mini-Series:
Dealing with Difficult Emotions

with Ven. Katy Cole

Wednesdays, 6:00pm – 7:00pm PDT (Pacific Daylight Time)
April 28 – May 12, 2021
(3 sessions)
We are using the Zoom video conferencing system for this event.  Please register below to receive your online access information.
In this three session series, Venerable Katy will show us how to begin to address in meditation the delusions of attachment and anger, and their overarching antidote.

The session format will be consistent with the Lamrim Series — beginning with nine-round breathing, quieting the mind with Shakyamuni Buddha meditation and then moving into each of the topics.
Ven. Katy Cole
Originally from Perth, Western Australia, Ven. Katy Cole has been a Buddhist nun for over 16 years. Since 2003, Ven. Katy has served in a variety of positions at FPMT including Liberation Prison Project's SPC, chaplain coordinator, and on the US Board of Directors. For the past five years Ven. Katy has visited Lawudo Gompa for retreat and helped Ani La Ngawang Samden with offerings in Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s cave and care of the baby cows. In 2008 Venerable Katy completed a one-year retreat at FPMT's De-Tong Ling Retreat center. Ven. Katy is currently at Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s home in Aptos looking after the hundreds of daily offerings.
