As soon as we develop bodhicitta, we become a son or daughter of the Buddha: Should bodhicitta come to birth In those who suffer, chained in prisons of samsara, In that instant they are called the children of the Blissful One, Revered by all the world, by gods and humankind. |

Wisdom supported by bodhicitta is also called ultimate bodhicitta. It is a realization of the nature of reality. Without wisdom the true practice of bodhicitta is not possible and we cannot put an end to the suffering of samsara: All these branches of the Doctrine The Enlightened Sage expounded for the sake of wisdom. Therefore they must cultivate this wisdom Who wish to have an end of suffering. |
