In this stand-alone talk, we will continue to explore what "practicing dharma" really means. In Part One we concentrated mainly on becoming aware of, and then refraining from buying into, destructive habit patterns and the mistaken attitudes that motivate them.
This week, after a brief summary of that initial approach, we will explore the more pro-active approach of cultivating positive states of mind and the beneficial behavior that arises from them. Emphasis will be placed on the methods for bringing our everyday experiences ─ including those that ordinarily cause us great difficulty ─ into the path of spiritual fulfillment. Time will be set aside for Q&A.
