Join us for a joyful and auspicious morning of
Animal Blessing and Meditation
with Geshe Tenzin Legtsok.
Together, we will set a positive motivation, meditate,
recite mantras to bless the animals, and circumambulate with
them around holy objects.
Recommended by Lama Zopa Rinpoche,
the Animal Liberation practice helps create the causes
for their fortunate rebirth.

Guidelines
Pet Safety:
All pets must be on leash or in a crate and supervised at all times.
Stress-Free Environment:
- The first hour (9:30am–10:30am) is reserved for non-dog animals (cats, birds, bunnies, etc.).
- To support calmness, consider covering crates with a light cloth.
- Dogs are welcome in the second hour (10:30am–11:30am).
If your animal cannot attend:
If your animal is elderly, ill, aggressive, or uncomfortable around others,
you may bring their food to be blessed or take home blessed water for them.
Mantra Chanting:
We will chant the mantras on
pages 9–14 of
Wish Fulfillment for All Animals.
Please download the free booklet and bring it with you.
Offerings:
You are welcome to bring food, fruits, and flowers to offer to the holy objects.
Comfort:
Please bring a small towel or blanket for sitting.

- This event will be held in a private residential backyard setting in the San Jose/Campbell area. Attendees will receive information about the location the day before the event.
Volunteer Opportunity: We are seeking a volunteer who will not bring pets to assist with setup and cleanup, and to help care for the holy objects and offerings before, during, and/or after the event. If you are interested, please email spc@oceanofcompassion.org.
