Please register below to receive your online access information. Mindfulness meditation is a simple yet deeply nourishing practice that can have profound and lasting effects. The aim of this course is to cultivate mindfulness as a practice for our daily lives — to learn to stop and breathe into presence, and to take our practice further if we have one already.
This course is part 2 of the Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation. We will continue to practice Mindfulness of breath, body, emotions, thoughts and Loving Kindness. Part 2 builds on our practice further to include a spacious awareness of whatever arises in our moment-to-moment experience. Classes will be a mix of teaching, formal meditation practice and Q&A. We will build on the formal meditation practice each week to increase our capacity for mindful presence. This 5-week course is suitable for beginner meditators and those who already have a mindfulness meditation practice. New students are welcome, as it is not necessary to have attended part 1 of the course. |
