This five week course is heavily focused on learning mindfulness meditation in a very practical way, as a tool for life. Although there are references to Buddhist teachings and the ancient wisdom derived from them, this course is secular in nature. The 75 minute sessions begin with a group check-in, followed by teachings around key topics to be addressed each week and culminates with a guided practice session. There will be time for Q&A at the end of each session.
Media is a Mindfulness Meditation teacher based in London. She has trained with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach for 2 years in the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training program. She is currently studying on the FPMT Basic Program, a 5-year Tibetan Buddhist education program.
Mindfulness meditation has been a great anchor in her life and she wants it to be accessible to all.
