Introduction to Lamrim Meditation

with Ven. Katy Cole

Mondays, 6:00pm – 7:00pm
June 28 – August 30, 2021
(10 sessions)

We are using the Zoom video conferencing system for this event.  Please register below to receive your online access information.
The lamrim, stages of the path, is a core topic of study in our Buddhist tradition. The lamrim provides a concise and easily graspable picture of the Buddhist path. Transformation comes not only from study, but from thinking about the topics and doing analytical meditation on them, to make them a part of our lives.

Venerable Katy will help us to deepen our lamrim understanding through analytical meditation, beginning with practices to calm, and focus the mind before moving on to the lamrim topics. She will also touch on concentration and visualization in meditation. This program is offered drop-in and will benefit meditators of all levels. It will also support the students currently engaged with the Discovering Buddhism and the Exploring Buddhism programs.
