We are overjoyed and very grateful that the beloved Geshe Ngawang Dakpa has kindly accepted to return to teach at Ocean of Compassion.
Geshe-la will provide commentary on parting from the Four Attachments.

Profound and also relevant to our daily lives, please join us in learning about how to relinquish these attachments.

The Four Attachments, as shared by Manjushri:

If you cling to this life, you are not a practitioner
If you cling to the three realms, that is not renunciation
If you cling to self-interest, you are not a bodhisattva
If grasping arises, it is not the view
Geshe Ngawang Dakpa

Geshe Ngawang Dakpa was the resident teacher at the San Francisco FPMT center, Tse Chen Ling. He is a renowned scholar of the Gelug tradition, having received the traditional geshe degree from Sera Monastery. His wisdom, warmth and incredible ability to present the teachings to westerners in a traditional, yet lively way make him a jewel to those who have had the fortune of studying with him.
