Judy Weitzner returns to continue the conversation — Planning a Path Forward
We are using the Zoom video conferencing system for this course.  Please register below to receive your online access information.
Death is one of the most difficult transitions we make, but often we hesitate to even discuss it.  Not talking about dying can have a negative impact on our mental health and the way we live our lives, particularly now as the Covid Pandemic has brought the fragility of life front and center.  Being open about our fears can help us develop the tools we need to prepare us to meet loss with courage and compassion.

This ongoing program will create an opportunity to discuss the many aspects of death and dying and go in-depth to study and contemplate death with an aim to decrease fear and develop tools to cope with the end of our own lives as well as to help loved ones and other community members who are struggling with loss. This program will include Death Cafe style facilitated discussions, guided meditations, and exercises to deepen our awareness of how we can meet life challenges with grace.

In addition to facilitated discussion, we will invite different presenters to enrich this program and help us to explore topics more fully. Topics and presenters TBD considering feedback from the group.
