White Tara Long Life Practice
12:45pm - 1:15pm
The most precious Dhakpa Tulku Rinpoche  had suggested in the past that students recite the Tara Long Life mantra for our kind and holy teacher, Gyumed Khensur Rinpoche.

When we practice, we can dedicate this long life mantra for all our holy gurus to live long, including His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Lama Zopa Rinpoche.

Since White Tara is an enlightened being who bestows healing and long life, we communicate our wishes to her by invoking her mantra.  Due to her omniscience, she can hear our call; and due to her compassion, she responds.

One of her "enlightening activities" is to help remove obstacles to one's long life; Therefore, she can provide help in lengthening the life of our precious teachers, so their enlightened activities can continue to flourish.

When we practice this, we remove our own karmic hindrances that may prevent us from seeing our holy gurus as pure, along with any hindrances that cause us to mistakingly view the holy teacher to appear sick or ones that prevent their holy wishes from being fulfilled; we purify all those hindrances and deepen our connection with our teachers.

Long Life Prayers

Everyone is welcome!
