Embrace wellness through Medical Therapeutic Yoga

Spring Session offers participants:

• Strength gain and better balance after surgery or injury
• Ease of movement for walking and being active
  
• Tools for pain modification due to chronic issues
  
• Group class for self care after discharge from physical therapy
  

Intention of the class

• is to offer an affordable resource to integrate safe practice of yoga in order to move with ease

No prior experience with yoga required for participation.
But participants should be able to get up and down from the floor independently or with minimal assistance.

Education and experience

• Licensed Manual Physical Therapist
• Owner of Private outpatient practice
• Studying for Professional therapeutic yoga certification with Dr. Ginger Garner
• Certified Advanced restorative yoga teacher
• Pelvic floor yoga teachers training from Leslie Howard
• 35 years of work experience in assessment and treatment of acute and chronic issues related to pain and mobility.
