A Half-Day Retreat
with Ven. Jampa Sangmo Saturday, July 8, 2017 12:00pm – 4:30pm Living in our fast-paced world of work, family, social media, and the 24 hours news cycles—we can forget to find the ease in our lives. Exploring meditation we will utilize proven tools to help us awaken to our true nature of peace. These simple, profound practices have been utilized for over 2500 years. Meditation is a learned skill that allows individuals to explore the mind with compassion and curiosity. During this last decade significant medical and scientific research has shown that meditation fosters well-being and peace.
There will be instructions for sitting and walking meditation. We will have time for sharing, community, questions, and answers. This retreat is appropriate for beginners as well as experienced meditators.
