Kanchan Thakar is a licensed physical therapist since 30 years. She likes to integrate restorative yoga in her practice for personal wellness and also for those who need help with mobility and pain issues. Recently, during the pursuit of expanding her horizons, she studied with world renowned restorative Yoga teacher Judith Lasater and got a certification for teaching Restorative yoga.

After years of practicing in outpatient clinics, Kanchan has developed this integrative movement class, to provide an affordable wellness resource in the community. The intention is to provide guidance for a wellness experience in the present for a healthier you in the future.

Each class offers opportunity and guidance to practice gentle therapeutic movements and restorative yoga poses along with guided visualization for moving towards better health

To stay active in fall

A series of four classes will be offered in September on Wednesdays from 10:00am – 11:15am

Cost of class

Cost of four prepaid classes: $60.00
Drop in rate is $18.00 per class

Learn simple and effective exercises to take care of your aching back during lying down or while being upright.

9/10 Wellness moves for freeing up the hips for walking and dancing better

9/17 Wellness moves for calming the brain
Tap into the potential of restorative yoga for feeling grounded and centered.

9/24 Wellness moves for energy
Within the body lies the potential of harnessing energy for wellbeing and living life with vigor. Let’s explore that together.
