Discovering Buddhism: All About Karma

Tuesdays, 7:00pm – 9:00pm February 18 – March 18 (5 classes) Module 6 of the Discovering Buddhism series, “All About Karma”, presents the essentials of the law of cause and effect (karma) according to Buddhism so that we can generate a clear understanding of how karma works.

Understand which actions create the causes for happiness and which create the causes for suffering, the importance of our motivation, the various types of karmic results, and various factors which make a karma heavy or light. We will also discuss how to purify negative karma in order to minimize or bypass the future suffering result.
The practice day for this module will be the meditation and Vajrasattva purification practice on Sunday, March 16, from 10:00am – 12:45pm. Prerequisites: none |
Registration at the Door: $15 per class or $60 for the entire course (five classes) if paid in full on the first day of class. Members of a certain level get courses for free (see the membership program for details).
